No fluff lets begin:
Strategy 1: Take note of previous success
Increased confidence / self-efficacy can be as simple as sitting down and making notes in view of its past successes. Think about all the good things that have led him to this point in racing. Think of any races you have won, did well in or led a serving really well. Think about a time when you had the desired action well, and write about the positive aspects of this experience.
Just see their success in the role can trigger a reminder and a belief in their capacity and serve as a powerful motivator and increases their self-efficacy.
Strategy 2: The modeling / observing someone else reaches its desired result
Just looking at another person successfully completed a task services as a form of self-efficacy increased. Think about a time you've watched a supremely talented driver then left the track and has led much better yourself. Or watched a DVD then come out legendary drivers on the track and absolutely ripped it up! The fence in excellence and modeling this behavior not only improves your driving, but also his belief in his ability!
Strategy 3: Being aware of your self talk
Simply being aware of what you say can serve to increase their belief in his ability. The drivers are sometimes not even aware of negative self-talk that is gnawing away at your ability. Saying things like "it's raining and I can not drive well in" negative thoughts in your head wet seats and diminish their ability to get into the area and dominate the race.
Being aware of those involves noticing when they occur, the record of them and then change them with a more positive message. For example, the "rain is a challenge and I am keen to practice racing in it so I can control it, then domino!"
This is just a taste of the plethora of information I have about doing the best driver and rider!
